Senior Product Manager

Product Singapore

About the role

Product development at OpenFabric is an extremely collaborative effort between product, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams. We empower our product team to solve hard customer and business problems in ways that our customers love and still work for our business. You will be joining a durable product team that comprises engineers and designers.

At OpenFabric, you’d be joining a group of experienced leaders with a track record of successfully building large-scale business and consumer products that collectively impact millions of users worldwide.

You will…

  • Be responsible for ensuring that our product teams come up with effective solutions that are valuable (customers choose to use it), viable (works for the constraints of the business), feasible (our engineers can build it), and usable (product is easy to use).
  • Be responsible for the product team delivering the solutions - the features and functionality in the roadmap.
  • Own the planning and prioritization process working with the engineering, design, and deployment teams.
  • Orchestrate the product development process from ideation through to final delivery and commercialization.
  • Actively engage in internal and external fact-finding and analysis to shape the thinking and evolution of the platform.
  • Contribute and co-own the documentation of both internal and external artifacts of the features/functionalities under your care.

Skills we would love to see

  • You have a minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on product management experience (PMs with more experience are also welcome).
  • Experience with technical products or platforms from kick-off to ship.
  • Ideal candidates have product management experience around integration platforms or backend systems including APIs/SDKs for partners.
  • You are very comfortable with developer documents and reading API specifications.
  • You exhibit a “whatever it takes” spirit to make your product and your team successful whether that means writing a QA test plan, writing up developer integration documents, or hunting down the root cause of a user’s frustration.
  • You have not just launched new products but have done continuous product improvements for a portfolio of products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a good talent for articulating customers’ pain points.
  • Experience building payment products/platforms (optional and would be a bonus).
  • Prior experience building software products (backends) as an engineer and deeply understanding the considerations/choices that engineers make while building platforms (optional and would be a bonus).

Why should you join us?
